I was thinking of how our jets would do against the Russians.
The Ukrainians are losing one to three jets a week now. According to the Russian MOD press releases.
I don’t think the Russians have lost a jet since March or April.

You should wipe your arse with Russian MOD releases.
BTW, we should wait for the confirmation, but the Ukrainians are claiming today to have taken down 2 Russian SU-25's with manpads: LINK

Who's flying them over Ukraine?

In the Zaporizhzhia direction, Ukrainian fighters from Special Operations Center ‘A’ of the Security Service of Ukraine and the Armed Forces of Ukraine have shot down two Russian planes.

The relevant statement was made by the Security Service of Ukraine, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“Recently, near such settlements as Orikhiv and Stepove, the enemy has attempted to attack the Ukrainian positions with two Su-25 aircrafts. But, our fighters acted in advance and precisely hit the enemy planes with the man-portable air-defense system,” the report states.

Here's the funeral of a Russian SU-34 pilot in May (from Oryx).
He's right that their losses have really gone down, though, at least in the open sources. I've read they're flying a lot of safe sorties these days, firing a lot of cruise missiles from occupied territory, etc.. I think aircraft are especially hard to replace for them at this point with the import sanctions.

Interesting? It would be a turkey shoot. Even the biggest Russian apologist like you can’t deny the United States Air Force is unparalleled and that the Russians are nowhere in their league. Our planes are better and most importantly our training is better and more frequent. Two squadrons of F-16 fighters and it’s over the horizon air to air and air to ground precision weaponry with US trained Ukrainian pilots would be the absolute worst nightmare for Putin.

Lol, weren’t you complaining about the lack of information coming out of Ukraine and Russia? Now you are complaining it’s untrustworthy.
I agree, it all has to be taken with a grain of salt. You can expect both sides to embellish their numbers and to hide their set backs.

I would expect both Russia and Ukraine to be disingenuous to help their own war effort. Western media is just absolute garbage in general.

Why? What are they trying to protect without going all big conspiracy on me?

Its embarrassing. I had little faith in media, but they've proved again how worthless they are, outside of being a mouthpiece for certain agencies.

Why are you are you worried about people's past travel ro Russia?
I left Russia in 2010 after living there for 4 years. It's sad to see Russia moving back to dark times, my friends there don't deserve to live in Kleptocracy with a mad man trying to be the next Peter the Great.
I hope that Russians revolt and take their country from that a-hole Putin. Too many good people suffering for that lunatics ego.

It’s not a conspiracy lol. Western media is obviously from “the west.” The West supports Ukraine and Western governments want to continue to support Ukraine, or more accurately oppose Russia. Highlighting Ukrainian losses with cause the general public to lose faith that Ukraine can hold out. Highlighting Russian war crimes galvanizes support for supplying and arming Ukraine.
When was the last time you saw a western journalist touring the front lines or doing actual journalism in Ukraine? Mostly the just sit in press briefings and then regurgitate what they’re told to regurgitate. How that’s different than Russian propaganda is beyond me.

After Wagner lost 300+ in Syria against an SOF detachment, Putin and his puppets don't want direct engagement with USA.

They need to be more careful with those than even the HIMARS. The tracked M270 can’t move away as fast as the wheeled HIMARS and is much heavier but as far as firing capability they are the exact same.
