Yes it will. Would love to see the Abrams against the T34.

By the way, we write that in Vinnitsa, about which proof was posted here yesterday, foreign arms suppliers were destroyed there right at the meeting
But that was an English source that you dismissed out of hand. So is it a valid source that confirms that Russian arms are ending up on the black market or is it a story written for the American public that isn’t reality as you stated yesterday?

Europe opted to go green and without electricity it seems to me. Will Germany declare Green Day to be a renewable resource and gasify them into synfuel at 10,000 psig like in WWII?
Next up whale oil will be declared a renewable resource by Germany.
Unbelievable how Germany bent over for Russia with Nord Stream after the invasion of Georgia and then Nord Stream 2 after invasion of Ukraine in 2014.

With China's GDP contraction, the price of oil is dropping and those discounts Russia has to give to sell its oil will put Russia losing money on each barrel sold
Posted on 7/15/22 at 10:48 am to CitizenK
What's the discount they're having to give? Do you have a sense of at what price per barrel it would go negative for them?

If it goes to $75 Russia is losing money, maybe $80 it's a wash. That being said, Putain doesn't give a frick if he loses or gains, its the cashflow he wants. He doesn't really care about Russia future economy the way he is waging this war.
With China it has been $35 per barrel and India $40 per barrel. I don't know what discount they are giving to Saudi Arabia but it has to be something along those lines.

Believed to be 40% discount for India and China if they pay in USD. No idea what their break point is.

Thanks to you & Lakeboy. Just looked at the China GDP numbers and weird to see China teetering on recession. We're being kept afloat at the moment by accumulated household savings from the pandemic, but unless inflation comes down, we're like Wiley Coyote chasing the roadrunner off the cliff, but not yet realizing he's no longer on terra firma.
Russian aggression tends to be curbed by O&G commodity price drops, so at least we'd have that though.

The United States plans to train Ukrainian fighter pilots on the F-15 and F-16 fighter jets, Andriy Yermak, head of the President's Office, said in a Telegram messenger post on July 15.
"The United States plans to train Ukrainian pilots on the F-15 and F-16 fighter jets," he said.
"This amendment to the U.S. Fiscal Year 2023 Defense Funding Bill was supported by the House of Representatives. A total of $100 million is planned to be allocated for this."
In turn, political scientist and publicist Andrei Piontkovsky believes that this is an indirect confirmation that Ukraine will get U.S. fighter jets as military aid to defend against Russia, however, it is still difficult to say when exactly this may happen.

The Czechs and Slovaks are trying to work it out:

n a debate aired on national television, Czech Prime Minister Petr Fiala announced that the Czech Air Force would soon be carrying out patrol and air policing duties from within Slovakia’s airspace. The proposed partnership between the neighboring NATO countries could kick start the transfer of MiG-29 fighter jets to Ukraine, which has been in the works since the early days of the Ukrainian-Russian conflict.
Fiala disclosed the details of the agreement on July 3, stating that beginning in September, the country would deploy SAAB JAS-39C Gripen fighters to conduct air-defense operations in Slovakian skies. Slovakian Prime Minister Eduard Heger was also present for the discussion and went on to add that the budding agreement may last for up to a year but is still in the process of being negotiated.
The most noteworthy outcomes, though, could be the chance to streamline Slovakia’s pending delivery of Lockheed Martin-made F-16 Fighting Falcons as well as the opportunity to donate the Slovakian Air Force’s remaining MiG-29 Fulcrum fighter jets to Ukraine.

It would be interesting to see how they perform in air to air combat against the Russians.

I cant believe Russia hasn't declared war on us yet. We're doing everything short of shooting at them.
Posted on 7/15/22 at 12:44 pm to DownshiftAndFloorIt
Huh? they definitely didn't for our backing several rebel groups not including Afghanistan. We didn't declare war on them in the 1960's when they actually manned their SAM batteries in North Vietnam

The F35’s would rape the Russian Air Force, F16s flying wild weasel missions would take out the Russian SAM systems, B2 would operate with impunity over all of Russia. Russian technology and the training of Russian pilots is no where close to the level of the Americans or NATO air forces.
