Poland was the first country to sign a letter of intent for LNG from the USA which helped FID for the first train to begin construction at Cheniere Sabine Pass (LA) our first LNG terminal since Conoco in Alaska

Towards the Atlantic kept ice free by the Gulf Stream. Even Alaska's North Slope can still only receive supplies two weeks out of the year, maybe three on hot years and some years not at all as it all comes in a barge flotilla. The water is very shallow so ocean going barges cannot load to their full capacity. All machinery and most of the supplies comes via that annual sea lift

Russia has bigger ice breakers than the USA. That allows it to ship stuff through its Northern Sea Route 9 months out of the year at present. Russia is currently building more ice breakers to allow it to ship via the Northern Sea Route year round. IDK how much economic impact that will have in the real world, but it will allow the mindless commies like LW and Sir Winston to kiss Putin's arse some more.
