Look at that map. America, frick yeah. Lost territory. I remember when America won a war. It was before I was born and read it in a history book. Let’s invade Afghanistan next. Oh yeah, we did that.

Now that Ukraine is on a stable war footing, I see no way Russia wins this thing.
God damn yall are stupid.
Easiest way to know you've prevailed in an argument is when the guy on the other side starts calling names and hurling insults.
Or, would you care to posit a well thought out counter point with some facts and solid reasoning?
I'm happy to hear you out. Take your time.

Your posts are usually 1000+ words, and discuss how Ukraine is losing territory but tactically winning this conflict. It’s usually, “Yeah, but…”

They are sending their best and brightest to be trained by western soldiers so when they go back to Ukraine they can in turn train more troops.
The problem isn’t the trainers.
Its that they can’t afford to take the time to train the conscripts.
Losses are so heavy that training must be cut short, to make conscripts available for combat duty.
They do have large manpower reserves, but the casualty rate does appear to be stressing them. They’re on their sixth round of conscription? And while men of fighting age have been forbidden from leaving the country since March, Kiev just imposed internal movement restrictions. To prevent draft dodging.
I read a western account this week of one territorial battalion that lost 130 men, on their first day. It’s serious.

The Russians are just bleeding the Ukrainians around Kherson. It’s an elastic defense.

If it cannot produce even late 20th century cars, how can it produce even late 20th century weapons much less 21st century?
Because their weapons industry is in healthy shape, between what the MOD orders, and export market sales. And because they have very large stocks of equipment in reserve.
They’ve also worked hard to wean themselves off western suppliers. It’s been a major priority since 2014.
The Russians also focus, like the Soviets did, on producing affordable platforms that can be produced in quantity.

It’s a waste of time. Most of us appreciate just newsworthy updates and discussion.

Sales to India were cancelled by India.

Well Russia did upgrade the model of tanks which Iraq had purchased (all blown the frick up in 1992 and 2003, by adding Autoloaders which make them easier to go KABOOM. Ukraine did the same to them this year by the hundreds

That’s actually inconsistent with the analysis I have read. The Russians are incapable of replacing stocks of their expended missiles and guided munitions and their modern tanks are mostly modernized versions of soviet equipment. They are really just feeding off of Soviet stockpiles, which they can’t replenish. It’s not an easy win for either side, and I maintain that the winner will be the side that can persevere politically.

Good lord you’re a Russian loving piece of shite. You should be deported from the United States or better yet why not just leave and go to mother Russia that you love so much? Please answer why you don’t live there since it’s the greatest place on earth according to you. You’re a fricking Benedict Arnold as far as I’m concerned. Russia is not in great shape like you keep insisting. Why would they resort to using 50 year old bombs that can’t hit shite accurately if they have so many precision weapons left? Do they just like killing civilians? The answer is yes. Russians always have been thugs who rape and pillage and don’t give two shits about civilian lives much less the lives of their own troops. Also you talk about training for Ukraine but fail to talk about Russia offering money to prisoners to fight or how they only train conscripts for a couple days before sending them to die. They could be down to their last man or last tank and you’d say everything is fine.

Their tank factories are literally idle. While losing 1000 armored vehicles a month. They don't have the chips or the CPUs for thermal gunsights or targeting computers.
They can produce 60s and 70s Era simple armored vehicles. But not modern MBTs. Nothing that can stand up to western ATGMs.
They can't sustain this war. And the Ukrainian army is better equipped and better supplied than it was when the war began.
Russia may not be losing. But they're not on a path that can lead them to any kind of acceptable victory.
What if they take the Donbas? They can't hold it. Ukraine will just sit over in their own territory and HIMARS the frick out of every valuable target. Day and night. It will never stop. Until the Russians have nothing left.
Their only shot ar victory was a blitz attack on Kiev in February. They fricked that up. And this is Plan C or D. And thousands more will die before Russia packs up and admits they lost
