Ah you’re right. The last 6,7 or so Ukrainian presidents were pro western plants but the one Russian in there, yanukovuch, who is now living in Russia, was democratically elected. The fact that his opponent, Yuschenko, was poisoned (Putin’s MO) while running against him was just a coincidence. The will of the people was clearly to join Russia.

Like I said, have some fricking self respect. If you don’t want to us to spend money on a war; that’s one thing. Stop lying to yourself otherwise.the “coup” was Yanukovych “winning” office.

I'm guessing the other side of the point above is that we should do nothing. A little bit of help will do nothing so we just do nothing. We either assist them in their conflict with Russia or we pull back and refuse to do anything except try to hold NATO together. I'd be interested in knowing how the Latvians, Estonians, Lithuanians and Polish feel about all of this.

What if it’s a bad guy vs bad guy story? Yeah, Putin is the ultimate bad guy, but Zelensky has reached Sainthood by many and doesn’t deserve it. And how far are you willing to go to be “pro Ukraine”? Given how you say all of our military actions and wars have been basically justified by you, I don’t think you care about an end date so long as it results in Ukraine losing.
