Putain pulled a general out of retirement who was in Afghanistan. He reportedly eats 5 full meals a day washed down with vodka and is as wide as he is tall. He is over their special forces now, General Pavel

Lima will say he’s the best general since Patton or Rommel and that Putin was holding him back on purpose. Hey at least he’s got a built in bulletproof vest though. It would take armor piercing rounds to pierce through the blubber of that fatass. What a disgrace. Has to have his uniforms specially made because they don’t have a size 10X. He will make a nice big target though. You can probably feel the ground shake from him walking before you see him. I bet he hasn’t seen his dick since the Soviets invaded Afghanistan.

Which is playing into Ukraine's plan is to fight a defensive war bleed the Russian military while it strengthens itself. Ukraine is doing just that.
Ukraine is losing 3-4K per month KIA.

Poland has a strong history too. It’s not just a flat plain with dew natural resources. You’re on dat rock lol. They have a strong military history and even have a few wins against the mongols.
That has literally nothing to do with my point. Every country has a 'strong history.' It isn't as though a victory against the Mongols is meaningful now, nor is it really relevant to modern history, where the fact that Poland sits on the Central European Plain is an important fact considering it was overrun in WWII. Not only that, the semi-autonomous Kingdom of Poland existed under the Russian Empire and then the German Empire from 1815 to 1918, which is somewhat relevant given the modern geopolitics, at least more relevant than mentioning a battle between the Poles and Mongols. I mean, the fact that the European Plain is a plain is part of the geopolitical issue. How did the contentious German-Polish border disappear as a major geopolitical flashpoint? Don't you think there's something instructive for the Russians in that fact?
Regardless, it isn't though Ukraine's economy is centered around Donbass. You people are utterly obsessed with 'natural resources' when lots of modern economic activity has moved to service sectors. I'd wager that the majority of economic activity in Ukraine isn't centered on Donbass. If it was, then why did Ukraine's GDP increase after 2014 when Donbass was de-facto independent? You are going to have me believe that Ukraine's economy is organized around its 5th largest city, to the degree that its loss cripples the country, but its GDP increased anyway, despite the fact that it did not have access to Donbass the last 8 years?

Pavel is an absolute unit. What’s left of Ukraine’s wheat is fricked.

Natural resources are critical even in today's world. Ukraine's titanium deposits are mostly outside of the Donbas region. There supposedly are newly found oil/gas deposits in the east but until developed, what is recoverable is not certain.
That being said, Ukraine does have a healthy "tech" sector with ample revenue for software development. The ammonia/fertilizer manufacturing in the Donbas region certainly helped make their agriculture more viable. There WAS a chemical plant in Severodonetsk which made various nitro heart medications and "Viagra" thus the nitric acid storage tanks blown up several months ago by Russia. I recently quoted to supply an idle (old) nitric acid plant with brand new ammonia manufacturing to supply it for relocation to Ukraine. My client is Polish, living in Canada but a US citizen working for an Indian agriculture products (mainly pulses such lentils) company.

Certainly not denying that, but I'm also not placing so much importance on those resources that the loss of them means Ukraine will fail to exist as a nation.

Damn, guess I gotta go back to the Chinese liquid Sildenafil mixed with Dapoxetine.

It will exist as a buffer state imho.
There will also be “elections” that will be as legit as ours here.

I really do love how strong the undercurrent is in our country that it's easier to believe we are going to support Ukraine militarily because our political elite launder their money there than it would be for the same political elite to just find another country to do the same thing with questionable leadership akin to I don't know Panama where it was reported that pretty much everyone uses that country to launder their money already
But yes the only plausible reason to support Ukriane is that Hunter Biden owned a laptop

I'm well aware. Liquid Viagra with an SSRI is great though.

These decisions are being made for the benefit of the Biden crime family. Not for the good of the country.

Was never stated or implied by me.
You are being disingenuous.
My post was in reference to the influx of cash in 2014.

ISW update

Key Takeaways
Russian forces conducted a missile strike against Kyiv for the first time since April 29, likely to coincide with the ongoing G7 leadership summit.
Russian Colonel-General Gennday Zhidko has likely taken over the role of theatre commander of operations in Ukraine.
Russian forces continued attacks against the southern outskirts of Lysychansk and consolidated control of Severodonetsk and surrounding settlements.
Russian forces are conducting operations to the east of Bakhmut to maintain control of the T1302 Bakhmut-Lysychansk highway.
Russian forces conducted unsuccessful ground assaults to the northwest of Slovyansk.
Russian forces intensified artillery strikes against Ukrainian positions along the Southern Axis.
Russian occupation authorities are escalating measures to stem Ukrainian partisan activity in occupied areas through increased filtration measures and the abduction of civilians.
quote:
The Kremlin continues to manipulate Russian legislation to carry out “covert mobilization” to support operations in Ukraine without conducting full mobilization. The Russian State Duma announced plans to review an amendment to the law on military service on June 28 that would allow military officials to offer contracts to young men immediately upon “coming of age” or graduating high school, thus circumventing the need to complete military service as conscripts.[7]
