Putnam County Health Officer Mary Garcia told CNN that she did not know if the girl had any preexisting health conditions.
So she had underlying conditions

Well, its already been proven that even if she died of snakebite venom, if she had Covid, she counts as a Covid death.
We can't trust anything reported by anyone really

CDC says get the kids back in school.

I find it suspicious that the CDC is commenting on behavioral issues with children. This is not their expertise. This is a political spin piece. The CDC would not be commenting on the importance of opening schools in an apolitical environment.

I was very impressed by the back to school plan I received. I don't like they have to wear a mask but they will be in school learning.
My point is we phased opening of the country and we should do the same with schools.

Add that to the fact that the newest data says kids 10-18 catch and spread thing the same as adults...
where because that is not what the CDC is saying

Not sure why anyone trusts the government. They've proven to be completely incompetent time and time again.
All of you sheep need to learn that.

A non underlying risk little 9 year one girl died yesterday in FL from COVID-19.
3.5 times more children under 15 have died from the regular flu compared to Covid since this started. People die. We have to keep our frame of reference here.

It is unclear if she had any pre-existing conditions.

I get what you're saying here but if officials have been making decisions based on CDC recommendations, why do they seem to be ignoring this one?

Why does the CDC want to literally murder teachers and children?

Most concerning to me is how political their statement sounds, and the timing of the statement. Many school districts in the Atlanta have already declared virtual learning until Christmas.
And why is the CDC discussing the psychology and development of children? That’s not their job or expertise.

I completely agree. The CDC should just measure the risk of children being in the classroom and the percentage chance of another outbreak, and the steps schools should take to lower risk.

There is actually a large portion of their website dedicated to anticipatory guidance and developmental milestones. It kind of is part of their expertise.

Nothing more than bureaucratic creep.
Look at what the CDC was originally founded to do. Now look what they do.
Gotta justify that ever increasing amount of taxpayer dollars spent after all.

I love when people do this.
You do realize that he's showing you that the organization you typically agree with is also saying to open up the schools.
It's not about now we agree with them. It's evidence for you.
