Now that I think about it, aren’t most signatures in cursive (mine included)?
Most signatures are illegible scribble.

I'm left-handed, and my penmanship is atrocious. So once I was out of high school, when cursive was no longer required, I started writing in print block letters.

My mother was an English teacher (HS).
She died in 2016 at 66 years old and that’s the last time I’ve ever seen cursive.
Perfect cursive.
She used to give me shite in third grade when I got a ‘B’ in handwriting.
fricking stupid discipline anyway, sans nostalgia - handwriting.

I exclusively use cursive. Had to teach my 18 year old son how to sign his name in cursive bc the Department of Education experimented with his generation in not teaching it anymore and are now returning to the practice. Ridiculous.

Looking over some ROW deeds this morning from 1902, so naturally they are in cursive.
I write in cursive fairly regularly.
That is true, but I enjoy the challenge.

My handwriting is a print/cursive hybrid and it's been that way since the 90's. I still cant make a cursive capital Q or Z to save my life.
That's me exactly.

A Q looks like an overly-fancy 2 and a Z looks like your hand spasmed when writing a 3.

And it's called "script" unless you are a yankee.

Every single day. I only write in cursive. I’m an adult. We started writing in cursive in 2nd grade and all through high school. Why would I stop?

I don’t write in cursive anymore because all the young people can’t read it. I just stopped unless I am writing a note for myself or my wife.

For the most part, cursive is just tilted, italicized printing. As someone who works with printed architectural drawings a good bit, I block print everyday and suck at cursive due to simple lack of practice.
I will however frick with my engineer from time to time by switching all of his detail notes into a cursive font while in CAD.

My SIL was in the post office and a young guy asked her to read something in cursive for him.
