I’d been talking about buying a few mattress and adjustable frame.

Mysteriously, I started getting ads for mattress stores.

Well, one had a good deal so I went and checked it out and bought one with an adjustable frame.

Weird huh?

Food is about the only thing that gets me. Especially Taco Bell commercials. Which is funny, because I always get the same thing at Taco Bell no matter what.

AT&T Fiber after seeing 300mbps is $35 ($45 all in). Installers are here now. I had seen the commercials but it was a mailer with all the details and bundles that really pulled me in. Oh, and a $250 Visa gift card, no activation or installation fees, etc.

Got one recently. I'd rate it 2.5 stars at the moment

Saw a DQ Blizzard commercial with a buddy one time. He didn't say anything, just got up and left the house, and he returned 20 minutes later with a Blizzard.

Told him he was a marketers wet dream because I've never seen such an instantaneous reaction to an advertisement

Saw some on an end cap at a local store and grabbed a tub to give it a try. It actually works pretty well. Kind of expensive though and dries out pretty quick if you dont seal it up tight enough.

I bought a pizza from Papa John’s about two months ago. Hadn’t had one in about four years. Frick advertising because it was horrible and I threw it away after about three bites.

Not much on TV, but IG ads have made some money off of me.

I've gotten scammed off one of those. IG essentially takes the ad money and looks the other way. 99% of the ads are bogus.

T-mobile commercials have been pretty effective lately. Considering switching to them from Verizon.

I dont know why some brands even waste money on advertising. McDonald's, Coke even most American beers. People will buy them regardless at this point and no ad is going to sway anybody.

Reason #1, is that advertising and promotional expenses are 100% tax deductible.

#2, is that while they may be established, they still need to stay at the top of your set of considerations. Basically, creating a high-level of awareness that they are simply still there. Brand affinity declines if you don't keep reminders out there.

Years ago, call of duty had an option to play as German soldier and they would yell out phrases in German. After playing it for a few weeks my phone started to give me “visit Germany” tourism ads

Falstaff Beer says hold my beer. They were one of the top 5 beers in the 60’s and 70’s, they quit advertising and their beer basically fell out of the market. You think people would drink Coors light if they didn’t advertise, it’s crap beer.

What does that go up too after the first year or does it stay the same?

I tried to get that previously. I talked to at&t and set the entire thing up.
The guy knocks on the door and told me that fiber wasn't in my area yet. So i just stayed with cox.

People on the phone lied. The equipment has to be close enough to your area.

It's 35 then goes up to 55 after the promotion. That's pretty good.

I pay 80 for cox.
