Nah, I just checked and that's the same thing they said to me when I asked for a refund. I didn't report the entire campaign. When I submitted the refund, I selected the option that I no longer want to donate to this cause or however it was worded.

That wording is not associated with a simple refund, regardless. Someone had to have reported it.

I can't imagine on my poorest day going on a website and asking for money for any reason.
I can't imagine having credit so poor I could not get an advance at a finance company.
I have asked for jobs never money. I have been broke but never hungry or without shelter because I have been willing to do any work when I was broke.
Remember way back when people would ask to mow your yard or wash your car, ect??

I don't think he initially came to ask for money, only prayers. But someone suggested a GoFundMe. It was after that things got crazy. He/she/it kept coming back, asking about the GoFundMe, "forgetting" one was created. Then it really went down hill

Had a lazy roommate a long time ago and I did all the yard work. He mentioned one Saturday morning he was going to do the grass. I left and came back in a couple hours and some black dude had half cut the grass and ran over a big chunk of concrete and bent the shaft on my lawnmower and ruined it. I was like what the frick? Dude said “ tell that mother fricker in there I’m still waiting on my sandwich.”
Point is some people are just frick ups. Like the two I mentioned above.

Not true at all, unfortunately. He specifically asked for money, but he didn't have a GoFundMe linked so people told him to make one. He did say that if you can't give, its okay, but he was for sure asking for money.
That's what made it look fishy to me. Normally you see someone ask for advice on helpful resources and/or ask for prayers, and then posters insist on donating.

Next thread by the OP will have his address and ask for anything people can afford to give his kids for Christmas, but then specifically ask for an iPad and gift cards.
