We were having a family get together shortly after John Candy died and the adults were discussing how he "ate himself to death" obviously implying that his diet was unhealthy.
One of the little cousins starting freaking out and crying because she thought he literally like, ate himself. It was funny.

“And here we’re going to paint a very special tree, just for us. A very little gay tree. Look at that.”

Obviously John Candy was always huge, but goodness gracious he was bigger than usual here.

Most sites claim he was 6 ft. 2 in. tall and weighed 275.
I call bulllshit of that weight. He's every bit well over 300 lbs. when he was in "Wagon's East".
I always felt sorry for the horse he was given to ride in that movie.

I don’t get y’all’s devotion, sorry she’s dead regardless.
Same here. She was a train wreck just waiting to happen. I knew for sure she'd not have a long life when all the stories of her being so fricked up she couldn't function much of the time.
Pretty much the same vibe I got when I saw what Steve Irwin was up to on his show. He took WAY too many chances with extremely dangerous and toxic animals and I told my wife one night it was just going to be a matter of time before one takes him out. Didn't figure on a sting ray though.

What farmer? Dean's car hit a car driven by a 23 yr. old Navy vet that had a Cal Ploy student as a passenger.
The only mention I found about a farmer is that Dean's father was once a farmer who got into dentistry.

It's crazy how old jimi hendrix looks for 27.
John Candy was great, sucks that we lost him too soon

My bad...
I always heard a farmer pulled out in front of him.
Never throughly researched it, tbh.

Lost most of his hair, can't weigh more than 125 in that pic and suffering from Alzheimer's.
I don't want to live that long if that is my fate.

That explains why his hair has never changed from the Big Fro .
According to wiki he grew to hate the fro but kept it due to the show.
