Last night I was at home by myself for the first time in awhile

Last night I was at home by myself for the first time in a very long time. There are a lot of reasons for this, moving cities, burnout, sad kids, and a relationship that's in its final sad throws. As a result I decided to make myself a picturesque hamburger for dinner.
This one has a premium Swedish högrev patty, American "cheese", pickles on a brioche bun. I also decided to live a little and used Korean gochujang instead of ketchup - usually this would create an exciting kick but it tastes just alright.
Those of you who are more astute will also see I burnt the fries a bit. But they were still basically edible so I will eat them to avoid waste.
Thank you for reading the story of tonight's dinner. It could have been a lot more exciting, but has actually turned out pretty boring and normal.

Tbh I started feeling sorry for you but then I noticed the artfulness of your writing style and became impressed.
