So wife (no pics) informed me she didn't shop for my parents yet.
They currently just sold everything they owned, bought a toy hauler and drive around the country riding their Harleys... but just bought some property and are building a house so they can see the grandkids more often

What would the OT get them? Especially last minute.

Is it normal to assume the wife is shopping for your own parents? My wife does fairly regularly but I don’t assume she is doing it.

ETA: if they have a toy hauler theres 1000s of gifts for them. Lot of that stuff is stupid expensive so people just make do. Like yeti cups. Don’t need it but easy gifts.

Gift certificates for the new house: paint store certificate, and a multi-use tool for your Dad. For your Mom, a gift certificate for an upscale kitchen store (assuming she cooks) and a collection of upscale soaps and hand creams.

Framed pics of grandkids.
This is a weird one but vitamins especially D and Zinc. Best preventative for COVID is a healthy immune system.

I got my dad a rocking fold out chair (the ones with the little hydraulic on the back) for BBQing or camping. He is incredibly difficult to buy for but he uses this thing almost every day.
