Would not be surprised to see white population less than 15% by 2050 and Saints/Pels gone once Gayle passes.

Even though Detroit provided large city decay model, NOLA is running the playbook on steroids and will double down with 4 more years of Teedy.

Then they'd smash his windows because there was nothing inside.

Why wasn’t his bodyguard outside

Doesn’t this guy want to walk to festivals and breweries?!

They catch the same 13-16yr old kids on the videos every single night. My sisters car was broken into, they had the video, showed the cops. The cop named all 4 kids in the video. Told her he could go pick them up if she wanted him to but they would be out by tomorrow and back in the neighborhood smashing windows again tomorrow night

Why is there no punishment? Can’t send them to a juvenile hall for 6 months or a year?

"Restorative Justice"

The new mantra for all progressive DAs and city councils.

Nah, our government actually gives a shite and there's lots of guns here.

I love this attitude.

Your govt gives so much of a shite that they continue to allow shitty developments all over St. Tammany. Who do you think that is going to attract? LA as a whole is fricked.

Detroit 2 coming soon

Having been to both recently, I’d say Detroit is much better than NOLA right now.

I'm surprised a local media outlet actually ran this story. It's fricking disgusting how in the bag most of them are for that absolute piece of trash mayor they have there. And it makes me sick that she's just going to coast into a second term. If you live in Orleans parish, get the frick out NOW! It's only going to get worse.

None of the types that do this shite. Do I need to get more descriptive?

Yeah. The lack of enforcement is really hard on neighborhoods.

Good for the criminals though.

The goal must be to exacerbate suburban sprawl. Because that's what happens when people abandon the city and move to safer neighborhoods.

Let's be honest, Louisiana, save for a couple places, is fairly dumpy as a whole.

It's a common tale in NO in the past few years.
But don't worry. The "City is better than ever" crowd will ?assure us that up is down, left is right, and hot is cold.

Crazy part is that they believe the stuff they're writing.
Stockholm Syndrome is real.

The family who was broken into 9 times are just shitting on New Orleans.

Everything is fine here. Canal street doesn't look like a 3rd world country. Crime isn't way up. The mayor doesn't absolutely suck. Everything is great.
