Well, it's not anything like that but frick China and frick Canada for doing it. No need to rename Lake Ontario. There's a whole history behind the name and the region, it would be dumb to change it.

If anything, it just makes it easier to sell things like reciprocating tariffs on red US state exports to their constituents.
