Lake Charles Police kills suspect in officer-involved shooting.

ETA: looking forward to having to drive through the protests since this is my route home.
Added information from a lady that was TWO parking lots over and in a hotel lobby when the suspect was shot cold blooded in the back.

As of right now there’s a handful of people claiming that the suspect was shot only becuase he was black. The cop woke up that day and thought, (in my best Beauregard accent) “I think I’m going to go out today and kill me a black man today because I don’t like them.”
With that said, there’s a group of “ministers” in town demanding the name of the cop who pulled the trigger. If he’s white, there will be hell to pay. If he’s black, they’ll leave without saying much.
LSP took control of the investigation and they’re still working on it without much coming out of KPLC.

So the officer thought he was grabbing a gun from his waistband. I wonder how long until we hear that’s not a reasonable fear, cops should know suspects running away are just having trouble keeping their sagging pants up, never carrying a gun there.
