As someone that lives in Lake Charles, may a pox be on all their houses. Their children's houses. May their mothers beg for bread.

I'm sure they're consistent and say the same thing about muslims. Oh wait, no. They're total pussies. Never mind.

All the talk about living in flood zones could be flipped around to living in drought-prone, natural fire areas in the era of climate change (i.e., all those folks in California and the West).

Remember when “Super” Storm Sandy hit New York? Pretty sure that was a national outrage.

In other news, people are short-sighted, hypocritical bastards.

That’s Calcasieu parish demographics, not Lake Charles demographics.

That’s some good insight into what those liberals think of people from the south.

This!!

Just people commenting on stereotypes alone...nothing more or less.

Bet the comments would have changed drastically if it said "Democratic Mayor calls for help"

Progressives =/= liberals.

Progs are foul, hateful, low IQ, perpetual victims who literally hate you because you stand in the way between them and their free stuff.

So based on their logic:
-If Louisiana voted for Biden, Lake Charles would be flowing with federal dollars right now?

-If La had voted democrat instead of Republican, Climate change would have been solved and Lake Charles would not have gotten hurricanes.

Liberals are nuts.

Climate change is the dumbest argument ever. The earth heats and cools. When I was young they said we were headed for an ice age. Now it the opposite direction. If China and India don't change then nothing we do will make a hill of beans. Libs are retarded like always. If we were a blue state they would be happy to help.

It's for a lot of these reasons stated herein that the whole Hurricane Sandy thing wrecking the northeast brought a bit of a smile. They always address hurricane damage like it's a south thing, not their problem....till it showed up on their doorstep.

guess all those folks live in areas with zero natural disasters?

Right. Next time an earthquake hits a city in California you think they are going to just abandon it? no they are going to want the government to step in. I'm not sure what is going on in Lake Charles, but it does seem like they were just forgotten about by both administrations.

Well, perhaps we should turn that valve off that controls the flow of natural gas and gasoline in the pipelines to the NE?

LC should rename that old bridge the Donald J Trump Robert E Lee Jefferson Davis Memorial Bridge. The Libs would immediately protest for its removal.

Being an isolationist and treating everyone and everything around you like it is just an obstacle in "The World of YOU" are not the same thing. You can be human and still desire to limit contact with people. We can be a great humanitarian country that benefits the world and keeps to itself too.
