Trader Joe's has some pretty solid cheap booze and a bunch of good kids snacks.

Do you know where River Ranch is? Do you know where Wal-Mart on Ambassador is? Do you consider those things close to each other?

The funny thing is that the people who seem the most obsessed with Lafayette always get the basic geography completely wrong.

Trader Joe’s good for cheap wine and Blueberry Goat Cheese. That, with some weed, will catch you up on your sleep on weekends.

Insecure losers who try to hate on Lafayette

Lafayette isn’t perfect, but it’s better than Baton Rouge

I think the corporate mission statement is "Like Trader Joes, but for homeschool parents with 8 kids"

Not a big ALDI fan. It’s a discount store so the prices are good, but they’ll smaller size means that they don’t carry everything. They also don’t take American Express.

It’s a nice supplement to a regular grocery store though. It’s about the size/scale of a larger Walgreens but with very good pricing.

Since Wal Mart does grocery pickup (which means I don’t have to go into the store), it’s the superior value proposition on grocery items IMO. You can save a lot going that route and you don’t have to deal with Wal Mart shoppers.

Louisiana also has a lot of smaller AG stores with aggressive pricing. So ALDI might have some head wind there if they can’t get really good pieces of real estate.

Places on Ambassador in Scott should let people know they're located next to River Ranch.

Also should change the AVI commericial. "Off Ambassador, next to River Ranch."

Lafayette is stagnant. Baton Rouge is going 80mph in the wrong direction.
