Aldi is great as a supplement to your normal grocery store.
Very cheap everyday staples. It's on the way to HEB for me, so very easy to stop there first for produce, dairy, eggs, bread, etc...

It may be for poors but they have some really good milk and egg prices and their chocolate is awesome.
