I've never met a woman that claimed fibro and didn't actually have an opioid dependency. Hope she gets help.

She probably "got it" from jumping off of a stadium. She's trying to get the NFL to pay her.

It's irritating these "fibromyalgia " patient's who walk in and scream in pain everywhere they are gently palpated. It's like, WTF??? How do you not scream in pain touching the chair? Or wearing the seatbelt? Or wearing clothes?

FYI: providers tell you that just to get you out of their office and on to the next serious patient

Thank god this disease is finally getting mainstream attention. Maybe now we can get an ice bucket challenge so more research can be done

My 78 year old mother in law has fibromyalgia, osteoarthritis, and is currently recovering from Lyme disease.

She has no addiction. Does not drink or do drugs.

it's more likely that the pain is real and the self-diagnosis is suspect.
chronic pain can have multiple causes not all of them physical

no need to mock the pain but absolutely mock the catch-all made-up "disease"

I would bet that all of her pain is from Lyme Disease. Its a bitch of a disease and rarely diagnosed correctly.

Luckily we have good treatment for this in the form of pills but now the government is even trying to take that away

They call it crazy old white lady disease for a reason.

You can categorize folks with fibromyalgia and they typically are the hypochondriac I have lemedy million allergies to everything type individuals.
