i use it, not terribly useful yet unless a cop asks for id, and for some reason you don't have it

ATC is in the middle of their bureaucratic rulemaking process for alcohol/tobacco retailers (and bar security staff) to be required to accept it. who knows how long that'll take

Louisiana State Police accept it for identification purposes. Other LEO entities haven’t come out with policy statements on it yet.

Secretary of State has announced you can use it to Identify yourself to vote next week.

Notaries are still trying to figure out how to utilize it in their business. Laws on the books say that the typically accepted forms of ID for notarial purposes are LA OMV issued identification cards, whether LADL or LA ID. Many folks get copies of ID’s to process bills of sale, during refinances or purchases of immovable property, etc.

So will they accept them? Not sure. Clerks of Court will also need to weigh in.

I use it, but Enterprise wouldnt let me use it to pick up a car, so there is that.

Exactly. With wireless payments + ID should be able to simply carry your mobile.
