She's not wrong on this one. What bigger waste of money is there to be in session since April and accomplish absolutely nothing? I guess my answer to this question would be a special session where absolutely nothing will get accomplished. Welcome to Louisiana.

JBE has called 4 or 5 special sessions but Denise didn't mind those.

The House bill may have passed yesterday but Denise and her crew were the ones that purposely delayed it because they want to spend everything in the forecasted revenue. The House bill spent about $200M short of forecasted revenues in case there was a shortfall (which is what's happened every year for almost a fricking decade now).

This is the only good thing about the inevitable passing of the COA's millage. They won't be able to resist the corruption and they'll started to get ousted one by one. With a budget that big, there's no way they can keep their noses clean. If they put 25% of the effort into caring for seniors that they do in trying to scam the system, they wouldn't be getting any resistance over their funding.
But, as soon as they get caught........

The age to register to vote should be knocked up to 21 and a person must have some type of education beyond HS. A semester of college, some type of training.. Anything.. That would at least help get rid of some of the dumbest of the idiots.
