This is the kind of shite that Broome didn't need to see today. Oh Baton Rouge city of...what could have been.

In '81 or 82, the school board and John Parker vowed to fix all of the problems, through forced bussing. I notice that the schools that were A schools then are now F schools.

I realize it was a little more complicated than that, but nonetheless, all the good schools are now shite.

I can tell you that the high performing private/Catholic schools use "means to pay" as a filter. There's a reason why Catholic High, Jesuit, etc don't accept vouchers.
It's good they do. I oppose vouchers and see them as just another handout.

I don't care, I was just noting it. I don't send my kids to public schools.

here are exceptions, but most private school curriculum is ridiculously easy. You're paying for homogeneity and grades.

I mean...most don't even require teachers to be certified. I get the butt-hurtness, but there is no rebuttal.

You read it wrong.. It said fr33 will not go within 500 ft of one because of the blacks who attend.

Eh even some of the ‘A’ rated schools I’d venture to say don’t even come close to stacking up to the upper tier schools of other states

Remember when Edwin Edwards said that the Lottery and Casino money would go to education?

While not one of the worst things I have seen politicians do, this should have been followed with tar and feathers, then a slow bus back to Marksville.
