The "Schools in need of intervention" list is obviously racists

Can we please just cut them loose already? It's bad enough they frick our voting up and elect people like Martinez, Matassa and almost got away with forcing a runoff with Painter.
DHS/DMS looking good!

Looks like the state isn’t very good at running schools in EBR.

Still no word on all the failing voucher schools.
Which will quickly close if not improved while those run by the government bureaucrats will never close.

I wish there was some way to compare schools between states and how a letter grade of A in Louisiana translates to a B letter grade in another state.
So much hype about Zachary schools, really curious how they stack up against others.

You are thinking of charter schools, not voucher schools.

It's not exact... but ACT/SAT scores would do this. However those are hard to get on a school by school basis because the test contract is between the child and the company, not the school.

You can look up schools on Greatschools.org, which will give you info like average ACT scores, other test scores, college readiness, etc.

Zachary are once again on top with 95.9
Erath High with a 118.8
Ruston High with a 105.4
Berwick High with a 108.7
Zachary High with a 100.1
And there are many more

It is really remarkable how well Orleans Parish is doing since they got rid of government run schools.
Think about how hard it is to move up the ladder. You have to improve at every grade across the system.
It takes 13 years just to rid the system of all the students that were in it when it was so far behind.
Orleans used to vie with St. Helena for the worst scores and not it outscores 14 systems including some like Tangipahoa.
If they continue to improve it will do more to prove that school choice is far superior to government run schools. There are no more "at risk" students in number in other parish than their is in Orleans.

My high school is rated A FOH

Orleans was in the verge of state takeover before Katrina.
I’m not sure if the improvements were charters replacing regular schools, the dispersal of the old student body across the country, or both.

He's talking about Zachary school district not just the high school but it's still bs since the district consists of like 3 schools.
