Can daiquiri shops even do this under current law?

It seems like this is already illegal. In the digest of Miller's bill (952), it says that "the addition of cannabidiol to alcoholic beverages offered for sale" is already prohibited under present law.

ETA: The bill also seeks to ban selling beverages with added phytocannabinoids as well. I'm not sure what the molecular differences are off the top of my head.

Half the threads here are about the gay marriage slippery slope and how it got us here with 270 genders and men winning girls track meets.

And we’ve seen what legalization has actually done in some cities… and the slippery slope crowd acts oblivious.

People love to support “the current thing” with disregard to the net overall impact. I’m fricking tired of smelling weed everywhere. I’m tired of seeing people smoke it while driving. I’m sick of stores popping up in every strip mall catering to that crowd.

I guess I’m in that <50%

When this gets outlawed, you’re going to see a lot more people smoking. This is an alternative.

SB237 (ban) is still subject to call. HB952 ("compromise") is scheduled for a final passage vote today

ETA: My prediction is 237 is returned to the calendar again, and 952 is voted favorably.

And I'm sick and tired of seeing drunks everywhere. You don't see me calling to ban booze.

Ha. There are plenty of people more in the know than, I. One of those people, who's a friend of mine, is wondering if the House is sending a message to the Senate implying that they're OK with no legislation at all.

This is a rather incoherent response.

Of course someone can take more than one 8 mg serving just as someone can drink more than one 12 oz beer.

237 back to the calendar again. Only one day left to vote on a ban.

This dude graduated high school 2005, making him roughly 37 years old. Its shocking for someone in this generator to vote this way.

There cannot be anything cool about this guy.

If those sneaky cocksuckers vote it in on the last day of the session so they don't have to field calls from angry voters...

That idea has been parked in my head.

I'm expecting the worst.
