frick THC. That shite is toxic to anyone battling a mental condition. Absolute poison. Glad this is happening.

Meanwhile, Pierre and Bobby are chugging Jack Daniels and Wild Turkey, complaining about "the evil weed".

I mentor a few former combat veterans with mild to severe PTSD that use it to help calm their racing brains from horrible memories not of their making.

Their medical doctors insist they use THC and CBD combined for best effect.

You are flat arse dead wrong.

I find it helpful for my mental and physical conditions.

I've resigned myself to Jeff Landry making it illegal.

Not sure if the prescription route is worth it from a money standpoint.

It's subject to call. It's up to the speaker to bring it up for debate today.

Any chance they just delay and delay until session ends on Monday and kick the can down the road?

The Miller bill went to the bureau today. I wonder if they'll push that one through and dump Pressley's.

If it doesn't pass this session, it probably will next year. Given the sensitivity of this issue, I could see them delaying until the last possible second and then voting it in right as the session ends. Our voices don't mean jack shite when it really comes down to it, and I'd be very shocked if this doesn't pass given the recent string of "bible thumper" legislation the past few sessions... this one included.

They do mean something.

But it will be a long-term thing getting them out of office.

This has to be a troll right?

I was prescribed it, by a doctor, not a gas station clerk, for my seizures and sciatica. You don't know if it is truly helping with the seizures because I'm taking normal seizure medicine as well but I didn't have any seizures while I was on it so it definitely wasn't hurting. It is widely known and well documented to help with seizures and helped tons of people that normal seizure medicine didn't do anything for.

It was for sure helping with my sciatica. Two back surgeries in and I don't like pain meds. It didn't take away the pain, but there's a very noticeable difference when I was on or off it.

The THC had some adverse side effects with some gastro intestinal problems so I got off of it. I was only on it for a year and wasn't using it and didn't get high from it, but I wish I could still take it because I'm sure it helped with my seizures and definitely certain it helped with my back.

I also have PTSD. If there was one thing it helped with the most, it was that. I was having nightmares 4-5 times a week over a certain event in my life. They almost completely vanished when I was being prescribed CBD/THC. Since I've been off, they've returned. Not as often, but I'm back to having them pretty regular. It sucks.

You don't know what the hell you're talking about. It's fine not wanting THC to be legal. I get certain arguments against it. But to make idiotic statements like that pretty much make it hard for anyone to take you serious.

I am more convinced every year that getting them out of office does not matter in this state. The names and faces may change, but every one of those pieces of shite (regardless of the letter behind their name) either eventually falls prey to the lobby dollars or has some personal interest that has nothing to do with their constituents.

I don’t know how long ago you were using CBD/THC but they’re newer formulations that might be tolerable for you now. Several men I know have tried that with good results. Visit one of the medical marijuana pharmacies and see if they can assist you with a different, newer prescription that works for you.

Good luck & God Bless.
