If your survival is dependent upon ambushing a deer, you don't pass up a meal. Kind of like driving through the desert when you come upon a gas station in the middle of nowhere. You have a half a tank, but you go ahead on and fill er up just to be safe. That monster was on half a tank and wasn't taking any chances.

I agree, but that wasn't my point. He mentioned that the Komodo dragon would be putting on some serious weight with that deer, but that's not the case because it's just a ton of excess calories. Maybe I'm wrong though, and the Komodo dragon slowly processes his food like a snake does?

Just check about intake/burn rate/out go with your boy Mingo. He's one of our resident know-it-alls...

I just Googled it and that's exactly the case. A Komodo dragon sometimes will eat only once a month because it has such a slow metabolism. So it does digest food very slowly. So no wasted calories there.

The day we lose Christopher Walken will be a sad day indeed.

That doesn’t look fake. Dated a girl in hs that could do this.

I hope he doesn’t swim for at least 30 minutes. He’ll get cramps and drown

Even though I think that they are pretty capable, I agree. Something's off in the video.

Not as moronic as the dude who had 2 or 3 of those at his apartment as pets. Take a guess at what happened to him weeks later when he did not show up at work.

I had an irrational fear of Komodo dragons as a kid… now I am not so sure it was irrational

Owls do that too. Reason #324 why owls don't make good pets.
