My Little Puppy
Heard an ad on a podcast about this. I know I'm poor but there's no way I would finance a dog. If I can't pay cash for a dog, I can't afford it.

Anyone have a business where we can start allowing folks to put spaghetti on layaway?

That insane but I’m not shocked people do this.

It's not that it's surprising, it isn't. It's just that I never really thought about it.

I just don’t know if I could pay that much money for a dog. Idk, maybe that makes me cold hearted or cheap or something, but I feel like 3k for a dog is a bit much.
What if you buy one and he turns out to be a huge a-hole?

I suspect just about anyone that finances a puppy is among the 33% of Americans with no retirement savings.

So how does this work? If you can't keep up with the payments do they take the dog off your hands?

Seems like that would be a tough repo. "Sorry kid, you're dad's at 120 days on Mr Fluffy."

I've seen people buy groceries with Visa cards.
They pay them off every month and probably get airline miles.
