Oh the warranty was free. The dog cost $2k from a puppy mill, but his rationlizaion was that financing a $2k dog was worth it b/c the dog came with a warranty. Oh, and a bag of free food too

We had to put a deposit down on our dog before driving across the country to pick it up.

I can understand a deposit but so much a month for 12/24/36/48/60/72 months is crazy.

Who wants a used dog? The maintenance costs on a used dog can be astronomical. Buy new and with a warranty that way you can take it back if it breaks.
