Funny how the newest dorms when I arrived at LSU were both demolished yet the older dorms still stand. What was the name of the girl's dorm that stood where the Business Residential College is now?

Lol. They’re making it a “green space.” That place is a superfund site.

No Kirby Smith thread is complete without a Kip Gullet mention.

They should let Mike Toole (tomahawk chant guy) push the button to demolish it. I mean...the dude lived in there for like 7 years.

It definitely wasn't a Four Seasons, but it wasn't that bad. Maybe it's because I had just moved 600 miles from home and didn't know a single soul when I showed up, but I enjoyed my time in K-Smith. I also lived on the third floor, so the elevator was never an issue.

Of course, they built campus housing all around it over the last 20 years.

The article just had to toss in a race/racist angle into the demolition. I would expect nothing less from the sadvocate.

They always said they were waiting for the other halls to be done and up and running… they finished tearing out the greenhouses and putting in Camilla hall and have it running…

I would bet it finally comes down…. They have been removing stuff from it for a while now…

Fairly certain living in Kirby is why I haven't caught COVID.

I remember being in the elevator going up to my room when I heard the news on 2 Pac dying. I'll have to pour one out for Kirby and Pac.

hey it wasnt that bad. It was not as cool as the Pentagon, but I had a blast and I only had to share a bathroom with 3 disgusting dudes rather than a whole floor.
