I like that bowl shaped pot holder thing to hold the hot bowl as you eat out of it.

My wife makes those things. She calls them "bowl holders" and she sells them at craft fairs. The ones in the microwave need a certain thread to be microwave safe. I also use them for cold bowls of ice cream.

Read a long time ago that microwave ovens heat up water molecules, ever since then I've always stirred in a little water to my food. Works like a charm.
