The clubs are what they are, but they are functional. You can always bring your own, or rent Callaways for $15. The balls do have super hard covers and feel like hitting ball bearings, but the longest target is 185 yards. A grown man that can play golf never needs to hit more than a 5 iron. Any time I see a man with a wood in their hands I know they are trying to show off or have not clue what they are doing.
The jury is still out on Lane, but I wouldn't bet against him long term unless the donor money dries up.
