Looks like this Crista Rock character is originally from Ohio, and came to New Orleans following Katrina, to hitch her career to the news coverage of the city’s travails. Can we put her on a train back up north, please? I don’t want my hometown infested with anymore of this kind of negative energy. (Scroll to the bottom of her resume on the posted link.)

Because saying they were "just having fun" downplays what they were actually imitating.
Nazis aren't some neutral costume or edgy joke, they represent an ideology responsible for mass murder and real-world harm.
Framing that as harmless fun comes across as excusing or normalizing it, whether that was the intent or not. It signals that behavior tied to hate or extremism isn't being taken seriously, and that can make others feel unwelcome or unsafe. We are pretty strict about anything that looks like it's minimizing or brushing off that kind of thing.

Looks like info may be coming out that this creature had people assisting her to bait people to do this on the floats, and then targeted these boys to get them to do something stupid. If that’s true, I hope she gets sued and loses everything.

Impressive. It took you a day and a half and 200 words to defend a bad analogy. A boss firing an employee is a defined, accountable relationship. An irrational internet mob trying to ruin someone over a clip or opinion is not. “Times have changed” does not magically make mob behavior reasonable. It just gives you cover to excuse it, which seems to be your entire point here. Run along, grandpa. You are in over your head.
