But has better build quality and resale value

Hyundai / Kia stole the designer from rover, that's why the look. Kia and Hyundai are now some of the best buys you can get in all categories. They are solid cars and the bang for buck is unquestionable.

So do Chevy and Cadillac.

Kia has different and higher quality standards and processes than Hyundai. They’re slightly better for that reason. Kia literally reps this fact to investors in their lease funds which is how I know about it.

My wife has a 2021. We have no complaints so far.

It was the most fun to drive out of all the mid sized SUVs we drove.

I’ve seen quite a few around. They look nice but I’d be cautious with them.

I mean, I don't have an ax to grind or a dog in the fight, but I study the car business. It does change, and you have to be aware of these changes, if you're recommending cars to friends and relatives.

Hyundia birthed Genesis and owns Kia. You've got it backwards. Genesis is becoming a legit luxury contender with a very local customer base.

Agree.

Asian companies have been stealing design cues since the beginning of time. (924/Mazda RX-7)

They just build 'em better noe.

Genesis has nothing to do with this conversation.

I’m telling you exactly what employees from both Kia and Hyundai have told me. If you don’t want to believe it don’t. I really don’t care.
