I bought a small percolator that makes a pretty good cup of coffee. I’m not a fan of the Keurig.

I like perced coffee. I have an old aluminium percolator and a vintage all glass Pyrex one, both stove-top. I've never had an electric model. The Pyrex is cool because you can watch it all happen. I use a cowboy pot occasionally when I'm in the woods or fricking off outside.

Men drink coffee from a coffee pot.

Soy boy liberal pansies drink coffee from a Keurig then load it up on pumpkin spice creamer.

Definitely not a fad, the convenience is undeniable.. we dont own one but I totally get why many do.

But yes the coffee they make is grade A arse

Agreed it is, but in general I’ll use a drip coffee pot. What’s really good is a Chemex coffee

I have a Keurig simply because I am the only one that drinks coffee in our house. But I usually use Buzzbox Honduran coffee in re-usable k-cups.

Good topic OP, keep 'em coming.

I have both. Sometimes I don't want to wait for a pot to brew so I pop in a pod. Brewed coffee though tastes better.

Keurig is good for single cups when you don’t have time, and I use my own re-usable cups with loose grounds.

We have one that is somewhere in the basement at this point. But when we used it, it was at work and I had the reusable filter cups as well. Way better than the premade ones. Not the same as a pot but pretty good when I just wanted a cup at work and didn’t want to deal with brewing a pot. Especially later in the day when I wasn’t sure if anyone else was still drinking coffee.

If you like strong Honduran coffee I’d recommend Cafe El Indio. I love that stuff. I also like that it comes in small individually wrapped bags within a larger bag so that it always maintains freshness. It’s really good stuff, but it does take quite a bit of creamer to even begin to change color. I don’t usually use creamer though, as the coffee is not at all bitter.

I buy the cold brew concentrate these days. Mix with hot water.

Yeah, it’s basically just a glorified mini pour over, but it’s convenient and only as good as the coffee you have in the k-cups.

A coffee pot obviously makes better coffee. But I'm the only one in the house that drinks coffee, so the Keurig is convenient.

Keurig is great for one cup on travel or in the afternoon. In the morning brewed is better.

Yea it’s convenient no doubt, but also the coffee you use is key too. If you use cheap coffee in a keurig it really sucks.

Cheap coffee sucks anyways, but it compounds in a keurig.

Thanks. I will remember that. We lived in Honduras for a year and a half and I really miss the coffee. Never had a bad cup while we lived there. Found the BuzzBox from listening to Rick and Bubba, but it is pretty expensive. I’ll have to look for this though! Thanks again.

I'm the only one in my house that drinks coffee. So every morning I pour into a 12 y.o. Mr. Coffee maker, 15 oz. of water, 1 scoop of grounds with a small pinch of salt over the grounds using 2 paper coffee filters. The salt and 2 coffee filters help take some of the bitterness out of the coffee. Really good if you use coffee and chicory.

I would rather have coffee pot or french press, but typically do Keurig for the convenience.

I’ve used this and don’t get the love. There’s always grinds in my cup. It always leaves me disappointed.
