Maybe the judge was involved in one of Diddy's wild parties?

It's all personal to the courthouse ring in a small town. Maybe the judge ruled against him on a budget request. Maybe the sheriff wants some of the judge's office space and the judge said nah. It doesn't take much. Maybe it was something salacious like people are speculating. But it doesn't have to be.

Yes, these little personal grudges exist in small town politics all the time. How often do they rise to the level of murder, though?

I’m guessing the judge tried that in a small town.

In all seriousness, we are missing a piece (or several pieces) of this puzzle. Could be professional or personal, this being a small town.

But the big piece of the puzzle is the judge's pic. Which is probably 20 years old if you look around. That's all that counts.

The Sherriff, though, is a baw and 'one of us'. Can't be guilty when he looks like "me".

Most jurisdictions require proportionate force to justify a homicide as self defense, so unless the judge was packing heat or a sword/machete, that will still be difficult.

The judge threw a pitbull at him.
