There is a Whitney bank next door to that store, they were probably waiting to hit someone at its ATM but the opportunity never arose. Then decided on the store.

This whole country has gone to shite.... can’t even be a cashier at a convienience store without getting taken out for no reason......the POS gets three hits and a cot for the rest of his life and if they decide to execute this thug he still gets to say goodbye to his family.... did the victim???????????

You know, part of me agrees with you but I think we also just hear about crime a lot more when it's actually lower overall than it was 25 years ago.
Another part of me just wants to go work from home, fly fish and maybe drive into town twice per month for doctors appointments and supplies
