I was just thinking, the race of the individual could have been motivation. It often is in other senseless murders like this around New Orleans.

A bit of thread hijack but I learned yesterday that my kid's school is teaching a mandatory class called Life 101. They have to file taxes, calculate the cost of having a child, "marry" a classmate and make a household budget etc. Why this isn't a national thing is beyond me.

FYI, I'm 100% in agreement with you. I might make some un-PC statements here but I'm not a racist. No one deserves what they did to that poor guy. That's just straight up evil.

In Kenner, on video, a coffee cup in hand with no glove, making a phone call, video surveillance of getaway vehicle... Probably pretty high chances they'll be caught within days. If it was Orleans Parish, I'd say pretty slim odds they'd be caught.

Fair enough. But do you think that a lot of people reach adulthood without those skills? I do. Particularly people where they aren't taught at home?

Since it happened in Kenner, it was a crime against a business and not another everyday gang killing. Pretty high that they get caught.
