She is right. Modeling is a dark industry. Most industries that are in high demand to be in(actors, models) require a lot of "selling your soul" to make it. Because if you don't play ball, there are plenty of people desperate enough who will.
This is why most child actors turn out to go crazy when they get older. Because their parents are so desperate for Hollywood Money and fame, they literally whore their kids out to the Hollywood/Elite Pedophiles for these roles. No wonder most of them become drug addicts.
Female Modeling requires a lot of selling yourself out but male modeling might be the worst in terms of what you have to do to break in(you better like gay sex).
