Died by suicide. Dang man, you just never know what’s going on with someone. Doesn’t make sense.

One of my best friends committed suicide right down the hall from his wife while she was sleeping and she didn't hear anything. I never understood how she didn't hear it. A .40 pistol makes a lot of noise, especially in a confined area.
The ice maker on my refrigerator wakes me all the time.

I know someone who was in the next room when someone shot themselves. He said it sounded like someone slamming a book shut. Said he didn't realized it was a gun shot until he walked in there.
