Me bringing the cart back has nothing to do with you and what bothers you. It has to do with me and what I think is right and what I think is right is treating others the way I want to be treated. I don't like when people occupy a parking spot with a buggy so I don't do it to other people. Rouses just perpetuates the issue by not having a designated return area in the parking lot.
Well, they hire people to go collect them so customers can leave them wherever. Their choice as a business, why do you hate the free market?

This one is a bit odd to me. I can’t put my finger on it, but her face is quite unattractive. Like, I can’t point to any one thing that makes her ugly. But overall she just looks unattractive.

I am blaming the store for not implementing a simple step that would help the issue. That blame is not in place of blaming people for not bringing their arts back..it's in addition to.
It's the same reason I put a clothes hamper in my daughter's room...it makes it easier to return things where they need to be. It's not a complex thought.

and that's why everyone hates Karens like the one in the OP
If anyone ever sees her IRL at a store, they should just lean back and push their cart (like a wind-blown cart) into her car while staring directly at her.

She needs the extra exercise it takes to return the cart to the correct location.

Rouses in Mandeville doesnt have a cart return
Do they possibly have the little ones that are marked by the raised parking stopper things? Hard to explain.

Same. I shop at Robert more than anywhere else, and they don't have cart returns because the store/lot is so small. Always surprised to see so many carts in the lot when you seldom have to park further than like spot #2 in any given row.

I'm on her side. She can return the cart or not. It's her prerogative and IDGAF if she does or not.

Sure is their choice, it doesnt mean I have to like it or have a problem with free market. I understand I have options and shop there for a few things at times in spite of things I don't like because it offers convenience.
Carts in the parking lot is a nuisance to people trying to park which is one reason most groceries have a designated return bin. Investing more into cart recovery staff as a perceived convenience so I don't have to return it isn't a convenience to me, it's a an inconvenience.
Rouses doesnt want carts in the lot so we all want the same thing..we just have different thoughts about how it should be done.

I can understand not wanting to leave two kids in the car to return a cart. She didn't have to be such a count about it, though.
I've only got one but when I bring him to the store I go out of my way to park near or directly next to the cart return specifically to make it easier to get and return the cart.
I'm not sure why she can't be bothered to park near one too. Hell, beyond making it easier to return the cart I like parking right next to the return b/c that guarantees I won't come back to find some shithead parked so close to my car that it's a PIA to put my kid back in the car seat.

The BR Rouses doesn't have the big cart corrals with railings and whatnot, but there are these single-row small areas marked by the raised yellow parking things where I think you're technically supposed to put them.
Nope..nothing. You either leave it in the lot or return it to the front of the store.
What I see more times than not is people leave them in the blue lanes designated for handicap persons to get in and out of their vehicle and then go inside the store.
I think what I might start doing is either bringing it as far out in the lot as possible OR maybe even behind the store since I am walking around with it anyway., So long as it is out of a parking spot for the person behind me, I don't care where it goes.

I do this too, so I can throw away my empty beer bottles there

As long as the wife makes the groceries and watches the kids at the same time, I don’t give a shite how she does it. Just don’t forget the beer and wine.

Rouses in Mandeville doesnt have a cart return and even thought I bring the f'ing cart all the way back to the storefront every single time..I do it shaking my head and swearing that the next time I am just going to leave it on the parking lot
I just can't bring myself to do it.
Can’t believe how big a deal this is to the OT. Bunch of old grumps on here looking for something to bitch about. I’ve never thought twice about looking at someone leaving the cart in the neutral ground or between parking spots and thought to myself that person is the scum of the earth
THIS is definitely the straw that breaks the camels back.

I can't believe people don't think it's a big deal to just walk off with your cart free willy in the parking lot where people drive/park.
Do you leave your trash on the table at Izzo's and other short order places with trash receptacles too?

frick that, the only dings on my $70k truck(financed @ 8.9% for 84 months,) is from shopping carts that the kept, entitled, lazy, soccer mom Karens left out wherever they were emptied, in the nearby Central Market that I shop at

I won’t lie, I usually leave the cart out too. I just don’t care.

Oh, I understand why. I also understand the why is inefficient. It's not an issue of understanding it's an issue of disagreeing.
