What about the home security footage of her arriving home that night showing the taillight intact
Is there a video that shows this? I might have missed it.

then showing her backing up into John’s car when she left to go find him?
I agree on this, it definitely helps the defense.

there is video of Karen leaving john's house early in the morning. In the video the passenger taillight is completely lite up red. If the taillight was in the condition seen in court it would not be lite up in that manner.

Ha! They can't even get the correct evidence to bring to the trial. Idiots.

Kind of but it could also be covered by snow. On John's ring camera video you can see her brake light still shining red, and not looking broken, when she left John's house that morning.
I agree I'm just trying to think of how a juror might justify it. In this screenshot you can see a section that isn't 100% red, but it's hard to tell with the weather conditions imo.

I watched it online during the end of the 1st trial. Wasn’t presented to the jury as it was caught by Turtle boy. Hoping it will be this time.

I've seen that video. He said there was video of her arriving at the house that showed it, I was just making sure I was talking about the same video. I posted a screenshot above of the video of her leaving the house which shows the taillight that I think people could make the argument that a section isn't lit up, but the quality isn't good so you cant tell much imo.

the problem with that is that the taillight would still be lite up and the top left portion of that taillight that doesn't seem lite up is the location of the reverse light. So that portion wouldn't be lite up red.

It shouldn't be too much longer until the Sally Port video is introduced
I'm really curious if the Commonwealth will introduce it or if the defense will have to. They supposedly aren't going to call Michael Proctor, the lead investigator, and It's not helpful for the Commonwealth since it shows Proctor right next to the passenger side tail light.

I agree with you, I'm just looking at it as if the juror was only able to see that video played in court. It might be hard for them to tell exactly which parts should be red vs white, especially with the quality of video not being great.
Just for comparison, it looks like at least some of the bottom part would be red.

I am just seeing this looking back through the thread. Is that the picture of the EMT with the McCabe girl she said she isn't friends with, but just knows each other from passing?

I think the defense did a decent job of clarifying that in the first trial. I'm sure they will do well with it again this time.

I know this is off the topic yall are discussing, but I came across the above post on this tb daily news site.

Its clearly one sided so take it all with a grain of salt.

I find it hard to believe hitting a body at 24 mph could do that much damage to a tail light. I was under the impression it was cracked and the concern was that proctor broke more pieces off to place at the crime scene. Will be interesting to see the defense present their side of the prosecution ever turns it over.

Something new happening in real time? I'm like an hour behind.

Yuri pulled out a shoe and Hank asked if it was the shoe that he got from the hospital. Yuri looks at the bag and says no this is the shoe found at 34 fairview.
just skip ahead to to where this happened. Everything leading up is a lot of nothing.

I thought one of the prosecution experts testified in the 1st trial that the tail light was cracked but no missing pieces. Did I dream that?
