Yes because you never see people walking everywhere(bus stops, stores, etc) during the day in poor neighborhoods. They all have cars.

Who gets to decide what is allowed or not?
This thread is an example of the cluster-f that would ensue. Won't pass, but Kansas doesn't have much else to debate I guess.

I'd say that when you get a handout from the government...they should be able to decide what is allowed or not. It isn't YOUR money...it's the government's money. They can decide how you are able to use it or not.
Everyone agrees that welfare and other programs like them were never meant to be a lifestyle..but temporary measures to get people through rough patches.

The same people who complain about welfare love claiming their child tax credit. A credit on taxes!? You should pay more! At least THAT is temporary.

And put a tracking implant in their necks that notifies me when they enter my neighborhood. Also, they should have to wear clothing that makes them easily identifiable. Like white and black stripes or orange. Also, limit the size of their rims to 18". And separate bathrooms of course.

Many the rich don't want the poors in their pools anymore :/?
Rich people don't have poors at their country club pools. And in the nice neighborhood we have our own pools for the residents. I don't think I have ever paid to go to a pool.
I didn't even know people paid to go to the pool. I pay for the one in my neighborhood with my HOA fees. They only allow people in the area neighborhood to go.
Regardless govt assistance doesn't need to be paying for the leeches to go to pools, gamble, and see movies.
I also have no problem with them limiting what they can use the food stamps on. If they want junk food, buy it yourself.

That doesn't really make sense since most people that complain about welfare are paying more in taxes than those on welfare.
Who gets more excited over tax season....poor people or the middle and upper classes??
As someone that grew up poor(and still has parents that basically live in poverty) I'm grateful for my family having access to those programs in times of great need. But we were never raised to rely on those handouts for our entire lives. Hell I've been trying to convince my dad over and over the past few months that he should apply for food stamps since he's only getting a tiny social security check now and whatever money my mother and mentally challenged siblings make at their minimum wage part time jobs. They are the example of people that SHOULD receive a small amount of food stamps...but they still refuse to even apply for it because they just were not raised that way.

I don't get the swimming thing either. Kids need to know how to swim and they need to learn to not pee in pools.

Welfare recipient is not a synonym for black. In Kansas the majority of those recipients are white.

Isn't that the case for nationwide stats on it?

Like welfare recipients know how to swim!

Banning them from swimming is like banning them from walking.
You're literally physically disabling people for being poor and in need of assistance.
That's as morally corrupt as it gets. I bet the law maker is a "Christian" as well.
Good to see SS going full tard as always

Hey what are the Scottsdale city public pools like? Aren't some of them pretty decent?

Yes, people love not having as much money stolen from them and complain about the people who receive your stolen taxes you retard! I agree the child tax credit is BS but it's NOTHING like welfare.
