Kansas judge calls girls, 13 & 14, the 'aggressor' in a child sex solicitation case

what in the hell is going on?
1st we have a judge in TX that backs a mom who is abusing her 6 year old son (Texas child transgender case), and now this?
13 and 14 year old girls were "asking for it"
it's almost like evil is starting to take over in this country

let's say this is true & the girls made a poor choice & even behaved badly - how does this mitigate the punishment of a 67 year old man soliciting children for sex?
anyone think he was a 1st offender???

“I do find that the victims in this case, in particular, were more an aggressor than a participant in the criminal conduct,” Leavenworth County Judge Michael Gibbens said in remarks delivered at a December sentencing for a 67-year-old man who paid for sex with the two girls, according to a report in the Kansas City Star.
The Star reported on Sunday that Gibbens ignored prosecutors in sentencing Raymond Soden to nearly six years in prison. Prosecutors said Soden had a prior conviction for battery and sexual battery and had asked that he be sentenced to more than 13 years in prison.

Of course they aren't to blame for the exploitation, but they also should've known better than to put themselves in this position where it's ripe for something like this to happen.

At first, I was thinking, "well, maybe the judge had read all the messages from all conversations. That's why he specifically may feel that way.."

dont think it should lessen the mans punishment for solicitation, but the girls did their part. They should be punished too. Especially if their parents arent going to or able to control them. Hard lessens learned when kids start messing with what should be adult behaviors.
And is it saying this is the first time these girls have done this?

You're right. Girls mature faster. So it's even creepier when the boys getting raped is celebrated here.

Eggs are precious. Sperm is not. We care more about women being abused or in shitty situations because men are expendable simply from a reproductive standpoint.

Pretty creepy how you boil this down to just simply biology.
And completely ignore other things like the mental state of the male doing something he's not mature enough for and being negatively influenced by a degenerate woman and ethical concerns about the adult women being in a position of authority entrusted to her.
You're honestly no different than the morons who told me with a straight face that a 10-14 year old boy can have a normal relationship with a woman that's at least a decade older in her mid twenties.
