I used to be one of those people.
And then I saw how creepy all these other grown arse dudes looked doing it with little boys as young as 10-14.

In Soden’s case, the judge cited as reasons evidence that the 13-year-old and 14-year-old had voluntarily gone to Soden’s house and had taken money for sexual favors.
Soden’s lawyer, Clinton Lee, had requested the lower sentence, saying that giving Soden the prison time called for in the guidelines was essentially a death sentence.
The defense attorney also noted that the girls allegedly tried to have someone rob Soden and that their older sister had been the one who arranged for them to meet Soden.
Soden knew the girl’s mother and paid her for chores around his house, according to statements at the sentencing hearing. Through that connection, he knew the woman’s older daughter whom he described as the “pimp” for her younger sisters.
The judge took those things into consideration in the sentencing and cited other factors, including Soden’s age, poor physical health and low intellectual functioning.
According to a statement the younger girl gave to authorities, she felt “uncomfortable” about an incident where there had been physical contact.
“And so she’s uncomfortable for something she voluntarily went to, voluntarily took her top off of, and was paid for?” Judge Gibbens asked the prosecutor.

At 67, he’ll likely die in prison. Prison isn’t easy, much less for the elderly.

And yet we still have and support laws that does not care about different reactions to the same moral act.
We may be animals and mammals at our core.
But we're more than that as we are the most civilized animals there is on the planet, especially in western civilization and thus why we will always prosecute adult women for inappropriate relations with underage boys.
We human animals take more things into account than just biology like ethical concerns, mental state of the parties involved, consent, parental authority and so on.
The world would be a hell of a lot more like an extra degenerate and fricked up Mideast and Africa if we based our law down to our biology.

I'm not talking about laws - I am in agreement with you here. I'm talking about how we, The OT, men, etc., react.
Our reactions are disparate because of biological differences. That is not to say, in any shape, that the actions are completely excusable due to the respective genders of a perp and a victim. Only saying that we give less of a frick about men having physical things done to them because of our expediency.
I'll give a nod to Grandmaster Patrice O'Neal on this account.
A man gets his dick chopped off and put in a garbage disposal and people make jokes and laugh.
If a woman got her titty cut off and fried in a pan, there would be National Titty Meat Day.
That's just the way we are.

And it's still wrong and we acknowledge it as wrong and that's why that kind of reaction is largely confined to private and anonymous spaces like a message board, at home or just keeping it to yourself.
If a man of note, like a politician for example, went public with this kind of reaction, he would be ostracized and ridiculed as anything from completely tone deaf to an outright creepy pervert that has no business in office.

You should see the 13 and 14 year old Mexican chicks in Arizona. They are super aggressive. Just sayin. I should also add that he deserves every year he gets. Those girls should not get off free. Force them to do community service, lots of community service, for being whore prostitutes.

Id have to see the context of the conversations. People are more mature at different ages
While the older man broke the law, on the surface it appears the girls knew what they were doing and “consented” rather than were manipulated. So I’d have to see the context in order to understand the judges decision
