$100,000 bond only requires you to put up 10k. And you can tie that bond to a house or land. So if every murderer got $100,000 bond, all they would need is any relative who owns any land to bail them out. It’s mind blowingly easy at $100k. In safe communities, where they don’t let public defenders keep being public defenders from the judge’s bench, alleged murderers get $1-2M bail for that exact reason.
