People who abandon animals in this fashion deserve a painful death.

Yeah! Since we are on the path of Venezuela, don't waste a canine. He will make a good stew, when we run out of raccoons, opossums, and squirrels.

Meanwhile, you can abandon your children in another country, have them thrown over a wall in Texas, then have the taxpayers pay to reunite you with them.

The dog running after the car is heartbreaking. Idk how anyone could do that to a dog.

Glad I didn’t watch

People that harm kids, old people & animals are a waste

Same here. I have to turn the channel if something bad is happening to kids, old people, or animals. No way I could have watched that video if the dog chases the car. Get a little emotional just typing that out.

I want to know who was filming and if they stopped and picked the dog up. If not, they're no better. Also, would you all have felt the same if it had been a pit bull? Be honest.

The dog was clueless as to what was going to happen. That is a sad video (but I'm glad the dog was adopted).

I don't think it should even be legal to own a Husky in the Southern US or other parts of the country that stay ridiculously hot for a large portion of the year.

You're getting an animal that you know will suffer for a significant portion of its life unless you take sometimes extreme measures to prevent it. Huskies and Malamutes just aren't built for our part of the world.

I run with mine early in the morning, or late at night. He does just fine, better than me for that matter.
He does what every other dog in the south does during the day in the summer, sits his arse inside in the A/C.
The only time he comes outside during the day is to go to the bathroom, or jump in the pool, and he spends a lot of time in the pool even though Huskies aren't supposed to be water dogs.

Yeah he'd love to live in the mountains year round, but there's nothing wrong with them living in the south.

Well that was absolutely depressing

Anyone who has been thinking of adopting or fostering a dog now is the time
Most local shelters & rescues are full
Most rescues cover medical bills for fosters so you won’t be out more than food & treats

I swear some of you just talk out of your arse and don't even read the posted article or watch the videos in said article. Just have to get your willfully ignorant $0.02 in just because.

Jenny Jinya write tear jerking cartoons to make points.

She does a great job, but her cartoons are definitely very sad because they reflect a shitty reality.

Yes, yes, yes. The shelters in BR and NOLA are over capacity right now. If you’re hesitant consider fostering as it opens up space in the shelter and you can see if a dog is a good fit for you. I know the shelter in NOLA gives you almost everything you need.
