Is this gonna be better or worse than the Bayou Classic crowds?
much worse, the homeless are going to completely destroy those hotel rooms

That place will look the convention center after Katrina by the end of the weekend. Hotel owner would be better off just burning the place down now before anyone moves in.

This might be the dumbest idea I have ever heard of.
$100 per night per room for that hotel. So we are looking at $3,000 per head that the state/city is going to have to pay for.. BEAUTIFUL!

they will trash that place like a spring break dive...

There is no way that the building will ever be open to the public again in its current form. The homeless are going to destroy those rooms.

Does the stay come with a free breakfast bar?

The customer reviews from the first wave of paying customers after this will be awesome

They probably would be safer outside.

why not just turn it into a make shift hospital for just COVID-19 patients?

But will they allow them to leave and go purchase drugs? Will they be allowed to do the drugs in the hotel rooms? No? They prob won’t stay then.

We just took all the homeless and put them in one building together. Lambeth House pt 2.
No way this doesn't turn into a fricking disaster. Then we let them back out on the street to interact unimpeded with the public.

meaning you've basically just created a permanent lawless drug den.
exactly, the issue isn't with moving homeless people into hotels. It's the complete lack of accountability and law enforcement that will come with it. It's essentially project housing for the mentally ill and drug addicted portions of society with a tiny portion of people that are actually in need the help sprinkled in
