If you are a squatted truck owner, or know one, I, as an older guy, have 2 questions: (1) Is it hard to keep the vehicle in a lane of traffic since you're looking up, rather than down the road? and (2) How difficult is it to drive at night, since your lights are pointed skyward instead of shining horizontally to the road?

I've been a fan of lots of automotive fads or trends through the years, and I've been a licensed driver for 50 of my 65 years, but I don't see the purpose or appeal of squatting a truck. Maybe that means I've officially reached "old geezer" territory, but if it does, on this topic, I'm okay with it and willing to live with that designation.

It looks like a dog dragging its arse across the carpet.

On G I seent my first one about 2 weeks ago out here in North Dallas. Windows down. Couldn't hear the music because his broke arse was driving on the access road that runs parallel to the mighty Dallas North Tollway while I was on that road doing 80.

Up here on Watson, Louisiana you’re more likely to see a truck with the fig sag than you are to see a sedan of any kind.

It will happen more as lawsuits are affected by this. There was one case where the lawyer presented that squatting changed how energy is distributed in a crash and won

Its like when you see 2 dogs stuck together. Can't help but stare and be glad it isnt you

Edit: I seriously dont see how this ever became a thing. The front is by FAR the most expensive components of almost all lifts. The upside is if you want a lifted truck you can find one of these clunkers and throw some lift blocks on the rear and youre ready to roll

Those MFs are around every corner in NWLA.

Now they have started putting boxes in the beds with 6x9 speakers to blare their bullshite in the Brookshires parking lot.

There's plenty when you drive from North La to Florida through rural Mississippi and Alabama.

I immediately pull over and pray when I see these idiots coming. It’s illegal now but not sure anything is enforced in our neck of the woods.

I see less of them in the Midlands, but yeah, they're still out there. I hate the damned things.
