Icing regularly with elevation, Advil, and smoked a bowl. Trying not to drink today... any recommendations to help the healing process? Ankle is softball size.

Put your head in a bucket of ice water for 30 minutes. You won’t feel a thing

Besides what you are doing? Just drink lots of water. That is the only other thing I suggest you do.

Go to urgent care and get xrays, dont want to miss a fracture.

Otherwise just ice and chill

I broke my ankle in three places and it didn't swell up that big. You may want to get an x-ray.

I broke my ankle from a fall from a helicopter. It was too swollen for weeks to even see the damage.

If it is very swollen, there is a chance they might not see anything right away.

If true, you should go to the doc. This happened to me in the 7th grade and my ankle has never been the same. It's still about 25% larger than the other ankle where the muscles have grown to compensate for the cartilage. Walking around on that MFer during the snowpocalypse was no fun.

I'd get a xray if the swelling and if you can't put weight on it tomorrow. Thought I sprained my a few months ago turned out it was a lisfranc injury, not fun.

Same. Only reason I’m not in the NFL right now.
